Disappearing Dialogues, an exhibition (New Delhi)

The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) is happy to share an exciting line-up of events, workshops and screenings, ‘Disappearing Dialogues’ to be held from  November 24 to 27, 2017 in conjunction with the exhibition at Bikaner House, New Delhi. 

Conceived and curated by artist Nobina Gupta, currently working in the Baghelkhand and Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with Art Ichol, a visual arts centre in Maihar founded by Ambica Beri, Disappearing Dialogues (DD) is a series of interactions with nature, people, culture, practices, and objects that are knocking on the doors of extinction.

The DD collaborative team of 15 diverse local, national and international professionals in the past one year has developed cross-cultural and trans-disciplinary research, exchanging and co-creating within the local community.  It focuses broadly on art, design, architecture, cultural practices, habitual art and craft, heritage and environment creating public awareness about challenges like sustainability and change.
